Taipei at night Taipei can be beautiful a night. During my stay I took many pictures of the city, especially Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, and the Double Ten Holiday (which is on the 10th day of the 10th month). Double Tenth also has one of the largest fireworks displays in the world. Double Tenth is a day where Taipei comes alive with marching bands, fireworks displays and most beautifully, all government buildings are covered with lights celebrating Taiwan's political system. The displays last until Sun Yat-Sen's birthday in January. -- Eric Trachtenberg
